Every photographer has a photographic style they resonate with. From dramatic, to documentary, to classic, to lifestyle. The style of photographer you choose will directly effect the visual outcome of your images. I consider myself a lifestyle photographer. 

The Knot wrote an article on these types of styles and defined lifestyle as “…photojournalism redefined. It’s candid, yet done so with some direction and styling— it has an approachable feel and a relaxed result. A good photographer will look for moments, but also set the scene.” 

This describes my approach to a wedding day perfectly. It means that I will move you to a place with good light before you slip into your dress. I will suggest to your bridesmaids what they can do help. I know for some couples, public displays of affection- especially when a camera is on them- isn’t a natural reaction. So when it’s time for bride and groom photos, instead of just standing there not knowing what to do, I will direct you and give you cues on what to do! The result is natural and relaxed images!
