My kitchen renovation is finally done!  And wow, it looks soo different and LOVE it! Goodbye yellow, brown & dark… hello white, bright and airy!

Here’s what we did…  We got new countertops, added a backsplash, painted the cabinets, added hardware to them, painted the walls white and added shiplap to the nook area!  When it came to the counters and backsplash, I hired Alexander Enterprises to help!  They helped me choose materials then coordinated and scheduled demo and installations.  They were able to remove the old counters and sink and install the news ones all in one day.  Then they guys came to install the backsplash, which took one day.  After that I hired Arizona Wood Renovations to paint the cabinets.  I thought about saving the money and painting them myself, but I’ve heard how big of an undertaking painting cabinets is and decided it would be well worth it to hire it out…. and it was!  It took them 3 days to complete.  After the cabinets were painted, we painted the walls white!  During this whole time I was getting the shiplap walls done.  I installed them myself!  If I can install shiplap- all by myself- while being 30 weeks pregnant, anyone can do it!  The shiplap walls will be in another post coming soon.

Counters- New Cararra Quartz
Backsplash- Ancient Tumbled Travertine 1×2’s
Sink- Blanco Diamond Silgranit Super Single under mount sink in Metallic Gray
Faucet- DXV American Standard semi pro faucet in stainless
Cabinet Color- Woodlawn Colonial Gray (found at Lowes and color matched to Behr Marquee brand)
Wall Color- Linen White from Behr.
