Get to know Kim:

1. What is it that you do?
I have been a custom homebuilder & Real Estate investor for almost 20 yrs. and I definitely love my businesses but I have recently decided to pursue my life-long passion for art, as well.

2. How did you get into opening your own business?
I created the art that I was looking for, for my own personal collection.  Many guests that saw my art really went crazy for it and asked if they could purchase a piece.  I didn’t want to part with any of it but loved it that people loved it!  Then several months ago, I started running out of room to display my pieces and I wondered if it was time to open it up for others to enjoy.  My husband, girls and Mom really encouraged me to pursue this and I am so grateful that I did!

4. Besides your business, what is your favorite thing to do?
I love challenging 4- wheel drive and ATV rides.  I love being out in nature, getting dirty and the adrenaline rush!

5. Tell us 5 things about you that have nothing to do with your business!

• I hold a brown belt in Tae Kwon Doe
• I started my first business when I was 23 yrs. old, a high end children’s boutique.
• I like putting together home movies to capture trips we’ve taken and life events.  I especially love it if they make someone tear up or laugh.
• I read over 70 books a year- all at night while trying to fall asleep.
• My favorite place to shop in high school was the Salvation Army thrift store- I put all kinds of crazy things together and loved it!  My new friends don’t believe me but I’m still that girl.
