Monica and Ben’s wedding day at the Lakehouse at Windmill Winery was a gorgeous mix of lace, cowboy boots and cotton (yes, cotton!) and it was absolute beautiful! Even though it was a little warm for this October wedding, nothing, not even the heat, could wipe the smiles off of Monica and Ben when they were together. The love and care they had for each other was made obvious just by looking at their faces, and I loved being able to capture it! (Also, a fun little tid bit… the last time I photographed Monica, she was a senior in high school! I love that she thought of me to capture her wedding 5 years later!)

While everyone was admiring how stunning Monica looked while she was walking down the aisle, I turned around to see Ben’s reaction. This is the first time he was seeing Monica on their wedding day and I noticed that his smile was different than what it was when the bridal party, who walked before Monica, were walking down the aisle. As soon as he saw his beautiful bride his smile grew huge. From a soft, no teeth, smile to a big, showing teeth, eyes lighting up smile. It was then that I could see his love for Monica written all over his face. And it was equally awesome, when I turned back around to capture Monica walking toward Ben, and see her smile was just as big! Scroll down to see!
